Thank you for considering The Classic Craftsman for your project! We’re James and Timothy Gaskill, a team of brothers serving the Oklahoma City Metro since 2018. We started out offering general handyman and remodeling services but quickly found our passion in fine carpentry. Today we specialize in custom trim, cabinetry & built in furnishings. Our pieces are all built to order at our shop in Edmond. This gives us complete control over the quality of our finished products, and allows you to choose the custom features that best meet your needs. Our goal is to create storage solutions that are beautiful, timeless & functional. Whether you’re looking to make a few small changes to your existing cabinetry or starting from scratch, we’re excited to help you get the most out of your space!
Meet The Craftsmen:
James Gaskill – Owner
James is one of the partners and master craftsmen behind The Classic Craftsman. He and his wife Meghan have been married for eleven years. They have five children, including a set of twins they welcomed into their family this year! James’ natural talent for handiwork appeared at a young age as he helped his father renovate their 1912 craftsman style home. After graduating high school he started his own company, working as a handyman and gaining experience in a wide variety of home repair skills. His special interest in carpentry developed later, when he learned to build furniture for his first home. James enjoyed the creativity and attention to detail that went into crafting these heirloom pieces. What started as a hobby turned into a passion! Today he delivers the same quality and precision with every project, providing his clients with an experience that is truly unmatched.
Tim Gaskill – Owner
Tim is the other (and arguably better) half of The Classic Craftsman team. He and his wife Miranda have been married for eight years and recently celebrated the arrival of their third child. Tim is the sixth of eight siblings in the Gaskill family. Like James, he grew up helping his father with a wide variety of remodeling projects. He continued to build his skillset while renovating his first home. It was then that Tim discovered his knack for seeing the potential in any space and his ability to bring those visions to life! His years of experience, creativity, and eye for design are unique assets he uses to help his clients get exactly what they’re looking for. Tim’s attention to detail and passion for his field makes his work one of a kind!
